You California guys may have dry air, but it doesn't get as cold as it does in the Midwest during winter. The SC loves the cold air.

So tonight I head out to return some rental videos, a typically domestic activity, and after an unusually long season of warm winter weather, tonight I found it a bit chilly, and, it wasn?t humid either. So with little anticipation of anything but the benign I proceed with my family errand. After the car warmed up, I briskly accelerate to find the new winter air has brought newfound power. Did I just brake the tires loose in 2nd at 50 mph with no help from the clutch? 3rd pulled much harder too, I had to use both hands just to keep the steering wheel from pulling the car off the road. Felt much stronger.

Driving my stealthily looking SC Integra GS-R, some tried to play, but few met the challenge, a prelude tried, but failed miserably, then the real challenge. A Mustang GT and a Ford Lightning, jump at the light, each watching the other, they missed the little red Integra that slide along side, and they tried to catch up, but ah? the winter air was in my favor.

The summer heat and humidity plague has been lifted. Why the drag strip isn?t open in the winter?, perhaps I?ll rent it out.

Sharing Lundgren's location means my weekend was also fruitful. Having to make a quick jaunt into work on Saturday night netted me the following.

4th Gen Prelude VTEC (Big Exhaust, Big wheels)
5th Gen Prelude VTEC (Totally Riced out!)
Ultimate Riced Civic EX with California Plates!!!
Brand spanking new Turbo Saab (The look on his face!!!)

All in one quick drive to work. For those in or around KC, the Plaza on Saturday night is a great place to burn a little rice!

Hey, give me a call if you rent that drag strip. smile It's been pretty cold here in Pittsburgh lately and my car's been loving it. Usually, I can smoke 1st to redline, shift, smoke 2nd to about 4k RPM's, shift, and chirp 3rd on rare occasions. Today, I smoked 2nd to redline, shifted, smoked 3rd to about 3k RPM's. Too bad it's not like this all year round. frown

lundgren, are you sure that was a ford svt lightning?? Those trucks I found out are also supercharged and put out some massive torque. I personally was not able to run away, when I raced one.. although all he saw was my rear end, he rode it good.. cuz he kept up at 140... GT's and reg. f150s I understand.. they are a joke.. but just that I would mention that.. Cuz I surely was shocked! Then again you have those other extra mods that I dont have like h/e, and cam gears.. frown I wish I was rich. I am too busy getting my suspension right now.. just had to order the agx's for my coil overs, my left rear shock already blew out and I didn't even have them in a month! (guess I expected them to last at least 2 months frown ) I also had to order a camber kit which was another 232.00, that's right.. I am whining again!
